Some of my fondest memories are of taking care of the family’s animals. I enjoyed all of the chores necessary to keep our pets healthy and happy; especially those that got me out of the house, out into the fresh air. Whether I was cleaning out stalls and chicken coops or grooming the horses, cats and dogs, all tasks were done from the desire of being around them and treating them with the utmost care and respect.

As a sole proprietorship, when you hire Fresh Air Pet Services you are hiring me. I will be the only one with your keys, your house, your loved ones. I left behind a 24 year office career because I want to offer you the best care for your loved ones as possible. We all know what it is like to leave our pets to someone’s hands. It can be a stressful time for both you and your pet, and I will be sensitive to all of your needs.

The Meeting

You have a shy cat or small pet? I empathise with animals who just aren’t as extroverted and may prefer to be left alone. I want to provide the most caring service for your little ones as possible.

During our initial consult, we will discuss what you and your pet needs and how I will meet those expectations.

The service

As a client, you can expect communication via a third party online program that enables real-time emails and pictures. I feel it is important for keep you, as the parent as involved as much as possible.

I do not offer overnight stays, any vacation service can only be offered for animals that can safely stay in their own home throughout the night.

Your pet’s safety will always remain my priority so I do not offer off-leash outings or visits to dog parks. These restrictions are in place for your pet’s health and safety. However, your pet will have the opportunity to romp about for a more intense exercise during one of my weekend trek services. If you happen to live on a busy street, I will gladly drive within a reasonable distance in order to walk in a safe environment.

I completed Petech’s intensive first aid and CPR course and will have a well-stocked first aid kit in the car and in my pack.

I offer daily, weekly, monthly scheduling. Last minute appointments will be considered if I’m available.

>48 hrs: no charge

48-24 hrs: ½ charge

<24 hrs: 100% charge

When I schedule a service, please allow for a two-hour window for this service to be fulfilled. This will allow for the reasonable plan for delays from the prior visit. For any and all appointments I will do my very best to arrive as close to the requested time as possible..
